LDS Church

So I was looking on KSL's website tonight and I found this report on how people in California are mad and blaming the LDS church for Proposition 8 passing. It is very interesting that they would blame the church for this. You can click here to read and watch the video of the lady that was so mad. The postcard idea? Ok I'm sure President Monson loves mail and he will be looking forward to getting these postcards but good luck actually getting the mail to him! It was also interesting to read some of the comments that were posted and see the lack of knowledge that these people have about our church and our beliefs. If you dont want to look i will share some with you... one person said "I really doubt if Joseph Smith or Brigham Young were in charge today if they would be taking this stance on Gay Marriage." I think this is funny because I'm pretty sure that all of our prophets were called of God and that they are guided by him! But maybe... ya never know? haha wow and another that was funny to me said "interesting that mormons will spend $20M on a cause outside their state" since when are we confined to Utah? I'm pretty sure that even though our headquarters are in Utah, our church is spread all throughout the world!! And I think if every LDS person in Cali would've voted Yes for Prop 8, it wouldn't be enough votes to make it pass so other people who aren't members would've had to vote yes too!! I think that it is interesting that people like to pin point our religion and blame the whole thing on us! I like how its always about the "mormon" church and never the other churches! Does this ring a bell to anyone? Like maybe we have protestors and opposers for a reason? Well if you have a few minutes I would suggest looking at the video and reading some of the comments! Gotta love the last days huh!!
