Congratulations Woody & Helen!!!

So today was the official wedding day for Woody Bair and Helen Lym! For those of you who don't know, I work with Helen at the ball fields. She is such an amazing lady and she deserves the world after everything she has gone through! But we are all so excited for her to finally marry such a nice guy like Woody. They have dated for about two and a half years I believe and they finally decided to tie the knots!! I am so excited for both of them because they were both married before and things didn't work out, but they were meant to be with each other! There are so many neat stories that go with these two and its so amazing to see god's hand in everything! All of us ball field girls helped in the kitchen with the food and we had a good time. I am so happy for them and wish them the best of luck! Here are a few pictures I took of the ceremony!

Congrats!!

Roughin' It Outdoors

So as you know alst week was girls camp. Diane brought a Queen size cot that had an air mattress on it! Yes we really were roughing it! Anyways the air mattress had a small leak so in the morning it was pretty flat. Well the only air pump she had, had to be connected to a cars battery. So we got Caren Crandall's keys and drove her van right up next to the tent. I was directing Jenny who was driving the van. Diane was in the tent doing something and I dont know where Caren was. Anyways Jenny started coming to me and Diane said that the van needed to be pretty close in order for the pump to reach. So sure enough I got us right next to the tent. The front of the car was pretty much hitting the tent, as you can see!
As you can probably tell we had a huge tent. Me and Jenny shared the queen size cot, and both Diane and Caren had there own cots, so we had to bust out the 3 Room tent. We called it the Tajma Tent... just like the tajma hall... haha anyways this is how the arrangements were. Me and Jenny were in our own room (cuz nothing but the cot fit in there) Diane was in the opposite room with her stuff and I had to put my bags over there, and then Caren was in the middle room. I think us leaders had more fun than the girls did:) These were the only pics I took too! I dont know why, because its not like our camp wasn't decorated or anything! But at least I got these ones!

Oh the memories!!

Hey this is something a want to give a try... all you do is leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. Ok so go ahead and leave me a memory!!

Girls Camp

Just a little update- I was called to be a camp director with my Aunt Jenny and camp was this week at Meeks Cabin Dam. It was a really fun time getting to know the girls better and having fun with them. It was a different experience being a leader but it was fun. Thurday night after we had did our flag pole, we looked up into the sky and saw smoke billowing up out of the trees. At first I didn't really think anything of it until I noticed how close it was. We went back to our camp and we broke down our camp in 6 minutes and 53 seconds, all except the tents because those could be easily replaced. This was tough for me because I was in charge of 8 girls and making sure they were safe. We left and then they later evacuated the whole camp. We knew it was close but we later found out that it was about 3/4 of a mile away from our camp. It was a very trying experience and something I will never forget. I am just so thankful that everyone was able to get out safely before the fire got too close!

Here we go!

So I was talking with my cousin Collete yesterday about the blogging thing. I decided that I will try it out and see how it goes. I love looking at everyones blogs so I thought you might enjoy looking at mine ane seeing what I am up to! So we will see how this goes!
